November 1–7 | Practicing Presence
NOV 1 (SUN) | Set the Table
Begin Table Month by praying over your table. Ask Jesus to make your home a place where people experience His love and presence.
NOV 2 (MON) | The Phone-Free Table
Share a meal with every phone put away. Give the people in front of you your undivided attention.
NOV 3 (TUE) | A Seat for Someone New
Invite someone you don't know particularly well to share coffee, lunch, or a meal sometime this month. Make the invitation today.
NOV 4 (WED) | Ask a Better Question
At your next meal with someone, ask, "What's something you've been carrying lately that most people don't know about?" Listen without rushing to respond.
NOV 5 (THU) | The Prayer Table
Ask someone, "How can I be praying for you?" Then pray for them, ideally right there together.
NOV 6 (FRI) | Remember Who's Missing
Think of someone who's experienced loss, loneliness, or a difficult season. Reach out and invite them to share a meal.
NOV 7 (SAT) | The Neighbor Challenge
Introduce yourself to a neighbor you don't know, or spend time getting to know one you do. Begin building a relationship beyond the driveway.
November 8–14 | Practicing Hospitality
NOV 8 (SUN) | Don't Leave Alone
After church, invite someone to lunch or coffee. Look especially for someone who might otherwise spend the afternoon alone.
NOV 9 (MON) | The Unhurried Meal
Set aside at least 45 minutes for a meal with someone. Resist the urge to rush. Let the conversation unfold.
NOV 10 (TUE) | Bring Something to the Table
Deliver a meal, a coffee, or a favorite treat to someone who could use encouragement. Include a handwritten note.
NOV 11 (WED) | Across the Generations
Share a conversation or meal with someone at least 20 years older or younger than you. Ask what life has been teaching them.
NOV 12 (THU) | The Open Invitation
Invite someone who doesn't attend church to share a meal or coffee. Be genuinely interested in their life, with no agenda beyond loving them well.
NOV 13 (FRI) | Tell Your Story
Around the table tonight, share a specific way God has been faithful to you. Invite others to share their stories, too.
NOV 14 (SAT) | Make Room for One More
Host a simple meal, dessert, or game night. Invite someone beyond your usual circle. Remember that hospitality doesn't require a perfect house.
November 15–21 | Practicing Love
NOV 15 (SUN) | The New Face Challenge
At church today, introduce yourself to someone you haven't met. Learn their name and invite them to continue the conversation over coffee.
NOV 16 (MON) | The Encouragement Seat
Tell someone sitting across from you what you appreciate about them. Be specific enough that they'll remember it.
NOV 17 (TUE) | The Reconciliation Table
Is there someone you've been avoiding because of tension or misunderstanding? Prayerfully consider taking a step toward reconciliation. If appropriate and safe, invite them to talk.
NOV 18 (WED) | The Listening Challenge
Ask someone about a challenge they're facing. Give them space to finish their thoughts without interrupting or trying to fix everything.
NOV 19 (THU) | Share What You Have
Buy someone's lunch, cover a coffee, or offer a meal to someone facing financial pressure. Practice generosity without expecting anything in return.
NOV 20 (FRI) | The Long-Distance Table
Call or video chat with someone you love but rarely see. If possible, share a meal together virtually.
NOV 21 (SAT) | Serve Together
Invite a friend or family member to join you in a practical act of service. Prepare food for someone in need, support a local ministry, or help a neighbor.
November 22–28 | Practicing Gratitude and Generosity
NOV 22 (SUN) | Save Someone a Seat
Look for someone sitting alone at church today. Introduce yourself and offer to sit with them. Make belonging tangible.
NOV 23 (MON) | The Gratitude Message
Reach out to someone who has shaped your faith. Tell them specifically how their presence has influenced your life.
NOV 24 (TUE) | The Extra Place Setting
As Thanksgiving approaches, consider who's likely to spend the holiday alone. Extend an invitation to your table.
NOV 25 (WED) | Prepare Your Heart
Before tomorrow's festivities, spend ten minutes reflecting on God's provision over the past year. Write down five specific things you're grateful for.
NOV 26 (THU) | THANKSGIVING: THE GRATITUDE TABLE
Before your Thanksgiving meal, invite everyone to answer two questions: "What gift from God are you especially grateful for this year?" and "Who has been a gift to you?" Make room for stories, laughter, and prayer.
NOV 27 (FRI) | Share the Abundance
Turn Thanksgiving leftovers into an act of love. Bring a meal to someone working, grieving, living alone, or navigating a difficult season.
NOV 28 (SAT) | The Unexpected Guest
Reach out to someone outside your usual social circle. Invite them to coffee or a meal, and begin a friendship that extends beyond November.
November 29–30 | Making It a Way of Life
NOV 29 (SUN) | The Communion Challenge
As you gather with the church family, reflect on the welcome you've received at the Table of Jesus. Ask God to show you who needs to experience that same welcome through you.
NOV 30 (MON) | Don't Clear the Table
Look back over the month. Who did you connect with? What did God teach you? Choose one Table Month practice to carry into December and make a concrete plan to continue it.
The table has always been one of God's favorite places to meet people.
May this November remind us that the Gospel can reach people through an ordinary invitation, an unexpected friendship, or a shared meal.
Every table is an altar. Every person has a place. Every meal is an opportunity for grace.
